I had 2 "barran" shipments this year. 2 sets of eggs that did absolutely nothing. The first one I contacted refunded my money. The second one-I didn't contact because I already had another batch started with what I wanted.
Do you take those clear eggs, break them open and see if that white dot on the yolk has a halo?
I think alot of people are having problems with fertility this year, maybe too many girls to one roo.
I would contact them and just tell them and ask if they would mind sending another batch out. Can't hurt. And these friggen eggs cost a fortune- ask Nava

Lovin, those are beautiful BLRW's. I don't think I've appreciated the dark ones till I see these. Your actual BLRW must be more distinct or more contrast in color.

Hey , it's too bad we weren't all together at that Chickenstock, it would have been great if all the sharks had been there for Time. I can't wait to get my hands on the copy (next) week.

Hey Nat! My Hedwig, the white one from you that we couldn't decide hen or roo is 4 months old and no crowing or hackle feathers!!!! I can't wait to see what eggs I get from her!

I'll try and get a picture of her tomorrow!

Ok Hedwig looks like my twin girls right? one of my girls lay green eggs and the other blue!! Its perfect-not dull colors either very distinct in coloring:) Im still waiting on the white orp and teh other EE that hatched with them to lay!!! I would die if I got a pink egg from her!

Nice catching up after a weekend dog showing in Colorado Springs. My ACD boy took his 14th point. One more and he'll have his championship.

Beautiful BLRWs!!!! I'm jealous. I got nada from my hoppy eggs

7 went to lock down and quit. I feel like a failure. Think I'm done hatching this year after I hatch what's in the bator now. Black LF Cochins from Bo Garrett.

Looking forward to seeing the Time article and seeing what the hoopla is about.

Sorry the collective sharks didn't get the buff laced brahmas. Maybe next time.

don't discount those straight combs yet, they actually help the flock fertility (rosecombs tend to have fertility problems so it is recommended to use a straight combed roo on rosecombed hens) .
