I can see it now.

Try the connections to the fan. It could be a simple connection that has come loose. If that does not work try a jumper wire from the power supply to the fan. Corrosion could make the connection faulty.

A cheap small fan in the corner would move the air and run the cord in through the "notches" in the case..
Nice...you can be very helpful when you try...:D:clap

Shaw, be careful!:pop

Ya I see that it was sold separate. But my mil bought it from her sister in law. . and it looks to me like a fan has been added. . there are blades in there and I can turn them. But it doesn't blow air.
I can tell this is the 9300 model cause the 9200 model has a different heating element entirely. Maybe I can get a hold of auntie and see if she remembers adding the fan. It's just strange I can't find a video for that particular fan addition. So I can't tell what it is supposed to look like before and after. . from the video I posted last night it appears the heating element in it is a square piece that looks sort of like a fan anyway. :hmm
So I'm confused.

If you need to, it's actually not too hard to add a fan yourself - get a computer fan, maybe an old one you have lying around, or if not they're not expensive to buy, find an old cell phone charger, and wire them together, which is really easy, and boom, working fan :) That's how I added fans to both of my LGs.

I would have to have had a computer to have an old computer fan lying around :lau

would a tiny fan like this be ok? I think I've seen little ones at Wal-Mart or dollar general.

It might, but you'd want to position it somehow so that it's not directly blowing on the eggs and drying them out.

If I could find the darn extra computer fan I have around here somewhere I'd send it to you.

I'm sure I have one (or 6 or 10) laying around. Aren't there particular voltages/wattages etc for what will work? I remember frying a board with one that was too potent. Oops.
