Warning. . some parts are loud. Jane was screaming cause she doesn't like everyone around her and her babies. . then the train came by:rolleyes:
:lau:gig
Shes gonna be a part of their world weather they like it or not!:love
Yep, bruised right up. It's actually worse now than it was. The scratch that's farthest up is the most painful.
Dang.. she really did a number on ya! :hugs:hugs

If i started with ducklings and raised them with my other birds do you think they would do ok?

See.... I am against raising them up in the same brooder.

I think they need to be raised each species in its own box/brooder so that they know that they are different and should NOT interbreed.

However, a mama Muscovy raising her ducklings with chickens nearby is fine... mama makes sure that the Muscovy ducklings know that they are muscovy.

Once they are raised.... it should work fine in the same coop/pen.

I get that. I should have been more specific..
I brood the ducks, chicks, geese etc seperatly then move them to outside seperate pens where they can see everybody else to integrate.
Would it be best to start with ducklings doing it that way or start with adults or juveniles and integrate?

That should work great.

I would start with ducklings... cuter, cost less, and you are not buying someone else's mistakes (you know what they have been exposed to etc. )
