Yep, it did. It's keeping temp still fine though. I'm just gonna take it back and exchange it.

Just make sure the new one has that fan cover on it! It sure looks like it would be a good alternative to the expensive brinesa... But not if it is going to have issues right out of the box.

This is the first I've seen of anyone having this issue, so I'm hoping it was just a faulty one. It started happening tonight after I popped the lid off and set it down to check the eggs. The display started rapidly blinking and then cut out entirely to what you see in that picture. It also looks like moisture might have gotten into it somehow, because I can see condensation in the display windows.

Okay, good news. The display is now working again. Not sure what happened there. We'll see if it does it again.
