But I would be more watchful over a first-timer...

I've watched her off the nest before, but never this long. Or maybe i just never saw her this long. The eggs look great, so I trust her so far.
Oh she hustled back to the pen when she saw the OEGBs going in there. :gig
Took a quick trip thru one of the small water containers, and nestled back in.

They are also snuggleing too though. . so maybe they are just curious?

I'd say they will be fine. Gotta get used to each other. My two did the same, after the others were gone.

Pastel... blue fawn will look almost as dark as a grey... and blue is a static color, so shades can vary a bit... :)

Curious... and they will preen each other clean too...

Just a word about hygrometers please. I have had GREAT luck with Oregon Scientific instruments. Really. They have inexpensive surprisingly accurate little gauges. I have a bunch of them around the house (near the orchids, for example) and outside. I love to stick them on the exterior of a window, with the numbers facing inward.

It's just funny how each one can act so different in behavior! Last year when I put the two boys in the broodr with the first hatchling she just took straight to them and was so gentle. Never pulled at them or anything.
