There is a ton of info on this thread if you can find it. I know I read about saddle shape air cells here before but there is so much content on that first page it makes my phone freeze up. Tried to find something for you but phone won't load it :rant
Maybe you can sift through and find it.
I'll work on that thread more. I've read tons of it but the info is often contradictory to best practices for call ducks. Or just so so much info that I get lost there for hours! Which is why I'm super grateful for you guys helping me so much.

I know you knew what it was, just was explaining for anyone else tjat didn't know what you were showing... :p

You have a styrobator still, right? Does it hold steady temps? If it does, I would look into getting one of the IncuTurners they have now and trying it with the Calls... I had incomplete CAM's hand turning as well, but when I switched to just rolling them around with my hands a bit more times a day, they got better...

They are actually in the styro now, no turner. I may try the next set in the Harris Farms, and order a turner for the styro. The HF has the CL and cochin eggs in it now, but I will lockdown the call eggs in it next week, and move the CL and cochins to another one.
(I have one turkey egg in the Octagon EX right now, due Sunday!) :ya

Do you think the call eggs would roll ok in this? They are about the same size as the CL eggs

For that matter is using a bleach or peroxide solution wise for this job?

Oh, no! Ugh, I somehow missed this... no, I would not use anything but plain water... no Listerine either, please... :hmm

Oof... that's a chitload of crap to wade through... and most of it is incorrect or contradictory... I wouldn't use it for reference... not if I wanted to stay sane at least, lol...

The egg shell is porous. I wouldn’t use either of those if they were mine. When I misted mine, I took a warm rag and lightly wiped the whole thing. Then I sprayed a fine mist on them.

:thumbsup

Yeah, best not to...

Honestly, I don't do anything differently with saddled air cells in Call eggs because all the advice on it is exactly the opposite of what is best for Call eggs... better to ask WV about help with shipped and saddled air cells... :D

Looks good to me, I would try it!

That new IncuTurner is a flat, slotted piece of flimsy plastic, but I tested it out with the fertile eggs I set for LG and those did great in it... I just can't fill it like I want to, lol, but should have plenty of room for you... :)

No worries I didn't sterilize them yet lol! I'll start wiping tomorrow, I'm too tired tonight to handle eggs I value if I can help it. Clumsy happens!

Prime example of all the different info that's out there. Some people really want to clean them, others dead set against. Easy to get lost in that thread then scratch your head trying to apply it to calls.

All the embryos are actively wiggling around. Think I have good odds of getting a few with 9 alive this long?
