@Ruralhideaway just looked at the pic better. Their positioning looks good, so its the waiting and watching game now. Just don't rush them.

@WVduckchickThank you! So just let them rest, no stretching membranes etc yet?
×2I laid a royal palm egg in mine and it seemed just fine. Didn't use it, was hand turning, but it did seem to fit in the thing ok.
Sorry, was down for the count.
Good job. Just be patient now. You can see they are alive, that's the hard part not knowing.
The crucial part now is getting the bill and the head clear of membrane. It will stick, and is worse to pull off later.
If you can't stretch the membrane in those spots, try the oiled qtip up under the membrane, just to ever-so-lightly pull it away from the nares and eyes (usually just the right eye is in the zone)
Good job.. go slow and easy..I've only messed with ones membrane. I actually completed his internal pip. Something didn't look right last night and yup he hadn't pipped. He had the membrane really stretched out so I thought he had. No real bleeding so I guess I didn't hurt him.
I'm going to touch up some dry spots so I'll look for chances to get the edges unstuck if they are.
Thanks all! Waiting waiting.![]()
Idk... @WVduckchick ... is this ok?Should I be seeing feet right under bills?
I can't tell either. But he looks good...is he chewing and peeping? The bill area is fairly freed up and I was able to roll the q-tip under the edges in most spots. Stuck in one or two spots but there is a vein intersection right there so I'm afraid to push too far.
Under this bill I think that's a foot. Hard to see.
