Id never even seen a live brahma until i met the girl who gave me the eggs im hatching but ive drooled over many pics of em...
Most everyone who has them says great things about their temperament so im hopefull!![]()
I've only had 2 brahma roosters, no hens. They were both flock masters with my comet girls.
Big Guy was a dark, Moonshine was the light. Great boys. Moonshine had a tendency to charge me, until i broke a tree branch across his chest.

I don't think you'll be disappointed

Hope yall don't mind adding a chicken pic to the thread. lol

I hate to spoil the fun here. . but I found Janes little gray duckling dead this morning
No idea what happened. It was laying by the waterer (it's a chic waterer the jar kind) and was soaking wet. Don't know if it died there first and the others just got it wet drinking or if it got in the other water pan and got too wet. It's a shallow pan with rocks in it so Jane can clean her bill. I used it Last year without issue so I don't know. They were zipping in and out of it yesterday.I added some more rocks just in case.
What a bummer.
Dang, just catching up here and seeing this. I'm so sorry.

The roo it came from is a blue partridge and the hens either blue partridge or gold partridge ... not 100% sure.
Hes fluffed up a bit more so not quite so moldy looking..

No bad smell and not shipped. They came from the girl i got the brahma eggs from... i did get a pic but dont know how to "spoiler alert" and its pretty gross..![]()
I always found my silkie eggs incubated a little different than others. Their shells were really glossy and needed lower humidity than everything else.

Sorry you lost them.

Fist two babies

Now I just have to hope none of the others need to hatch before I get home from work.
