Sorry about the crappy poor quality. I'm using my computer to take the pics. Chloe is on the left, and Opal on the right. But that is looking like a male to me unfortunately. New name!
Does anyone know what Napoleon Bonaparte's son was named? If he had one? Raoul or something?

Pictures of the babies? OK!
They didnt hatch while i was gone.
Home now and they're fine..:D
Still in the eggs tho...:pop

Proud Momma. I wish she could have raised her babies, but she wasn't broody, and the gnats are so horrible I was afraid to let a broody raise them. They'd be eaten alive.
She's a pretty girl! :love
Yesterday though Edna Mae was being so sweet to them. She tucked her wing around Chloe! Not kidding! Don't know why!
Maybe she decided she likes em! :)

I have only named two of my six goslings, lol. Still need to name the other four. And I haven't named any of the Calls yet. I even have a year old drake with no name but I think I'm selling him so I'm trying not to name him.

Only a couple of my calls have names. The 2 ganders have names....
Just havent come across one for her that fits...:hmm

Most of my birds are nameless. I'll usually try to name chicken hens that go broody, but had too many of those this year. :p
Phoebe duck is still on those 3 eggs. She moved back away from the corner about 6 inches. She did lift enough for me to see all 3 eggs, I couldn't see any pips, but I didn't have the best angle.

I did find a cochin chick hatched in with a group of broodies, the chick was not covered and I thought it was dead, but it's just kinda slow. One of the ones that stays curled up, a little star gazer-ish. I brought it inside for some Nutridrench and water. Will take it back out after dark and hope for the best.

Lisa it could very well take till tomorrow. Just moisten the membrane whenever it looks dry and like w v says, peel a tiny bit back each time as long as the veins are receded until it looks something like this and it can push the rest of the way out. just go slow and don't do too much too fast and it will pop on out when it's ready. :)
