Only a couple of my calls have names. The 2 ganders have names....
All of my chicken hens are called henny penny..Most of my birds are nameless. I'll usually try to name chicken hens that go broody, but had too many of those this year.
Phoebe duck is still on those 3 eggs. She moved back away from the corner about 6 inches. She did lift enough for me to see all 3 eggs, I couldn't see any pips, but I didn't have the best angle.
I did find a cochin chick hatched in with a group of broodies, the chick was not covered and I thought it was dead, but it's just kinda slow. One of the ones that stays curled up, a little star gazer-ish. I brought it inside for some Nutridrench and water. Will take it back out after dark and hope for the best.

Just moisten the membrane whenever it looks dry and like w v says, peel a tiny bit back each time as long as the veins are receded until it looks something like this and it can push the rest of the way out. just go slow and don't do too much too fast and it will pop on out when it's ready.All of my chicken hens are called henny penny..
