I certainly wasn’t familiar with all these grouse breeds. But on the other hand, I couldn’t afford them even if I did! They are stunning.

Don't take this the wrong way...but their not 'breeds', most gamebirds are known by the species name. For example: there are about 32 species and subspecies of the True pheasants, Phasianus colchicus, they are not breeds.

Most of us use the words breed, variety and species interchangeably..
Even though we know it's not correct.
