we cut her open ... and there was something going very wrong inside her. My husband said to post."tell them that she smelled like a gut shot deer" she was at point of lay and i dont know but something wasnt working right inside her.. she had only been dead 12 hours and it was reall bad smelling.. this would explain the gurgling sound I was hearing.. It was very sad.. something tore her up. wether it was her own egg producing malfunction or that she had another organ failure of some sort.

We bagged her up and "burried" her in the trash..

It was very good you did that. Now you know that it wasn't something that you could have changed. Even though it is hard to lose them, there is comfort in the fact that this is something that was going to happen no matter what.

I'm sorry you couldn't help her, but it was good that you saw there was something not right by opening her up. It's hard, but what you learn when you do that may help you in the future.
