They are supposed to, yes. Yours came from Hoovers. They breed for quantity over quality. Therefore they are just very poor quality. I've seen multiple d'Uccles come from there with little to no beard.Yayyyyy so not all d uccles have beards?
She is a d’uccle. Hatcheries don’t carry booted bantams/sablepoots at all. Many hatchery d’uccles lack beards.
They both came from a hatchery Hoover’s Hatchery and they only sell d uccles
There only d uccles plus sablepoots don’t sell at hatcheriesYeah exactly. There’s no way.
LolYeah, with my Brabanters they were all supposed to be bearded and crested but I ended up with one with a very small, almost non existent crest and one clean faced bird (different birds). Yet others had huge full crests and beards. Same breed but hatchery quality and huge variation. I still love them though. But hatcheries definitely don’t follow breed standards, that’s for sure.
I know dont worryyeah, that’s what I was trying to say hahah
hahah it’s okay I knew what you mentI meant there was no way they were Sablepoot, sorry for the confusion hahah definitely duccles
Oh okay good!
Supposedly they didn’t realize it until people pointed out that Hoover’s doesn’t sell the other one but who knowsI’m confused. If you were sure they were D’Uccles, why did you start all these threads?
I wanted to make fully sure there d ucclesI’m confused. If you were sure they were D’Uccles, why did you start all these threads?
