She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Any update today? I'm wayyy behind

I've been trying to figure out how in the world I'm going to do the next one. What's really going to blow everyone's mind is trying to figure out where the bear eatin' frizzies came from

When I admitted to that
I was just as shocked by that admission as I was by my brother's

You're not the only one! Oh, wait. . . I see Amylynn and WV have already given you ovation.

Gash, I'm so behind. lol By the time I catch up, E1 is going to be in bed or in the bathroom "candling".

I have figured out just enough to leave that one alone. If you think hatching is fast, you would be shocked at how efficient the candling is
Ugh, we'd be the '***** team'...
Been calling y'all that for 2 months

SC already thinks I'm an unstable emotional "w"itch,
And you're the captain. Yep, SC is the only one that thinks that. I don't know what's wrong with him

We should seriously all try together!
No, you shouldn't
And the pearl necklace.

My brother had one just laying around
Well I will be here for support.

I will, too. Spitting in a Pepsi bottle
X2 - anyone who wants to quit I'll be here with Ross for support.

almost all of you, really.
Is this a game? Can we guess?

Maybe that last nightcap was a bit too strong.... Hahaha!

th

Menthol is my norm.
Again, just flabbergasted

Just gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. My dream house, seriously. My wife and I have talked about tearing down our 80s ranch style and building something almost exactly like this right in the middle of the 15 acres. Hope we can find a builder to build it like it's 115 years old

Now you know how the "night" people feel when you blow up the thread all day long...

wish mine was so nice 15 acres water sounds great having a lot of land is nice taking care of it is a pain . we have ponds and a wet weather stream. but the ponds are to far from the house for water fowl . hope you get it if you really want it .

I grew up on 20 acres in the middle of bigger farms. As a kid, I mowed the front yard with a '47 Allis Chalmers Model B with a 5' Woods deck...no hydraulics, and crank start. I maintained the fencing on the horse pasture, maintained an acre of vegetable garden, managed the livestock (horses, ponies, beef), kept the meat and laying chickens, and had plenty of time to explore the creek and woods, fish in the pond, climb in abandoned barns and houses, and roam the surrounding fields and woods on horseback. 20 acres seemed so big then, 160 acres seemed like a whole world. We have a 40 acre parcel up north now and it seems small. But our house lot, at one acre, simply isn't big enough.

I can get another "real" tractor

this time one with hydraulics and electric start.

I'm checking zoning regulations now to ensure there are no livestock restrictions.

There are builders who build houses that "look like" old houses, then there are builders who build new old houses. The two feel entirely different. Some concessions to current code are required, like the pitch and width of the stairways, egress windows, basement depth, handrail heights. Others are energy code related such as the size of framing members, and of course construction changes such as platform framing vs balloon frame, insulation and window size, style and massing, heating and cooling systems, and use of subfloor under finish floor (the 1840s wing of my house used 1 1/4" fir flooring directly on the joists rather than subflooring).
