But ruby, I do think you could try it in the brooder. People have done alot less and got them hatch. Pyrex dishes under heat lamp, cover in saran wrap with holes poked by toothpicks!

I agree, I'd use your Brinseas for the shipped eggs and try to hatch the quail in the brooder.
 
In all seriousness, I wonder if you could successfully hatch that way from day one incubation. Providing it didn't get smashed at some point...lol

Is the Saran Wrap for humidity? I just contacted a local breeder incase this thing does hatch overnight and I was inquiring about a buddy for it and the breeder writes back that if she sets old eggs they take until day 23 to hatch!!!! Me and my impulsive behavior!

On a good note, I recalibrated my thermometer and my incubators are dead on!
