I don't remember if you said you were using a heating pad brooder? That might make all the difference for this little one. If you don't have any poultry nutridrench, you can order it on line. There is also a sheep or goat formulation that you could use. TSC should have that.
I have one young pullet who is always going up against the 2 cockrels. The other day, all 3 of them were going at it at the same time for 1/2 hour! What a hoot!

Trust me, I worry about that too. And it really stinks because he's a super nice guy (and my landlord) and he's right next door, so we always talk "chickens or peacocks or ducks" but we are night and day with how we care for our animals. I want to rescue every breathing thing over there! It would be so nice if he was like a byc person, do you know what I mean? And that's a great idea about the box. I'm using my MHP for the first time right now and they all finally just went under for bed! I had to turn down the temp a bit, all day they wouldn't go near it. I'm happy they went under. I really like the idea of the mph but my personal experience has been if I set it up right after hatch, they go under and don't come out to learn to eat or drink. So I took it out for the first few days (and got lazy and just set it back up today...2 weeks later).
I will get some pics tomorrow for sure! The girls are just maturing into ladies now, so maybe they are trying to see who is the toughest girl. I really hope so!

Since I moved my LO's to camp, the 2 silkie girls that were with them are now alone, so I was going to move the the bantam cochins (Armand & Katherine) in with them, then move the new babies into A&K's coop. I don't let A&K out very much since they are much smaller, and my dog seems more "interested" in them. But I've been letting all 4 out together lately, supervised. Well, Armand started dancing around one of the silkies. She turned on him and was attacking him! But he kept coming back for more. I let them have it out for a couple of minutes, just observing to see what would happen, but I finally stepped in and grabbed Armand. Carried him around for a few minutes. He finally calmed down, and I let him back out. I saw him dance around her again, but never saw her submit, and didn't see them fight anymore either. I think she told him he was too young for her..Maybe a few more days of limited time together, I hope they will work it out. Otherwise, I guess I'm building another coop/run for the new babies.
The girls definitely gotta put the cocks where they belong...
