Since I moved my LO's to camp, the 2 silkie girls that were with them are now alone, so I was going to move the the bantam cochins (Armand & Katherine) in with them, then move the new babies into A&K's coop. I don't let A&K out very much since they are much smaller, and my dog seems more "interested" in them. But I've been letting all 4 out together lately, supervised. Well, Armand started dancing around one of the silkies. She turned on him and was attacking him! But he kept coming back for more. I let them have it out for a couple of minutes, just observing to see what would happen, but I finally stepped in and grabbed Armand. Carried him around for a few minutes. He finally calmed down, and I let him back out. I saw him dance around her again, but never saw her submit, and didn't see them fight anymore either. I think she told him he was too young for her..

Maybe a few more days of limited time together, I hope they will work it out. Otherwise, I guess I'm building another coop/run for the new babies.
The girls definitely gotta put the cocks where they belong...
