She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Geeze did I kill the thread!?!

Here's an update on our hatch

Here's the trio enjoying more space all to themselves.

This is our rooster. He was hatched on Veterans Day. I wanted to name him something to do with the meaning behind Veterans Day. But our oldest daughter insist on naming him Lawrence.

Hen #1 also hatched on Veterans Day. Her name is Angelina.

Hen #2, our little escape artist, and her name is Owl. This little sweetie loves to be held & petted :)

Pretty babies OMC!

And no, you didn't kill the thread.  Its just dying a slow, painful death...  :gig

Lol probably not a whole lot of incubating going on in the winter lol
and thanks :)

The girls have such cute puffy cheeks!  They look great.  Hard to believe they are only 8 weeks old, they look so grown up!

I love the puffy cheeks! They are so different than the adult birds. Like their clicks are so different and they dont mind being petted. Thank you SO MUCH for the eggs.
I'm sure sometime in history there have been veterans named Lawrence and Angelina. Owl, I'm not so sure of. :gig

Your birds are looking beautiful OMC!

Yeah not sure where Lawrence came from. I wanted Vicktor or something like that. And Angelina is from a cartoon called Angelina the ballerina.
Walnut deserves credit because they came from her chickens :)

The two girls should lay green eggs, probably pale green by the look of them. I'm glad they are tame, that takes a lot of patient handling. My flock is too big to give each bird that much hands-on time but I hope to change that this year and get away from the production reds entirely.
