Not good is it. Day 16 and she looks nothing like the others.
 
Is the frizzle gene dominant or recessive and can you tell at hatch if they are going to be "frizzled?"

Dominant- a double doze of the gene has a good chance of naked or ingrown feathers.
You can't tell at hatch, but thier first feathers will tell you- you can tell by about 3-4 days old and it's very obvious by about 10 days old.
Frizzle breeders all recommend to either run a frizzle roo with non-frizzled hens, or a plain roo with frizzle hens.

When I got to the local auction next month I'm hoping to find a really good silkie roo, beacuse if I cross him with my current batch of frizzle girls that are nearly POL then I should start getting some decent sizzles.
