I'm with you on that you should be glad you don't live around here CMA is In Nashville this week and the only good thing about it . is every year the young girls  see how much less they can ware. go figure I blew two hydraulic lines this week and the hose company is right downtown with all those people. hour trip took two. I told you . you got the touch make the most of it. don.t sell yourself to cheap

I swore I heard peeping in my incubator. I went over to see and I have a pip! I marked it #1 because it had filled up the fastest and seemed to be ahead of the others developmentally, and it's #1 alright!

He's not peeping now though. I hope he's just resting. How do you guys do this?! I'm going to go INSANE sitting by and watching all weekend.

I agree with how insane it is! Once I see a pip, I just keep checking it over & over again. I never want to miss a zip & hatch! Hatch day is my favorite!! Congrats on the pip! One of my eggs took almost 24 hours and like Amy said, the average was about 10-12 hours! Update when you get more action!

i'd be comfortable with 6 or so LF chickens, but 8 would probably be fine. There is a lot of crap on CL for $400, but I'm not trying to get rich. I just like paying for feed with chicken money

Can you tell me how many man hours you have into it? What did you use for fasteners? Screws? Nails? do you have a pneumatic nail gun? That's my new favorite tool. Don't be afraid to price it up. Yours is better than the junk out there. What are you using for floor? Clean out door? I like your roof overhang and outside nest boxes. The only thing I might do differently, would be to put in a window at each gable for increased ventilation, and more light. But... then... I'm looking at it from the angle of my neck of the woods, where it's dark and cloudy so often. I assume you are selling "where is. As is."

Your little coop is 10 times better than any thing at TSC It's not even painted with real paint it's a you know like whitewash only red wash we got rabbit hutches from them they fell apart in two years. I had to rebuild them. I build panels out of chainlink but I can't build them and buy all the stuff so I bring all I can home from jobs .I better get back to work .Keep It up SC and keep it simple but well built and you will sell a lot. throw a bug your way think about prefab panels like your pens .people will pay for a better product If there sick of junk that falls a part . and you don't have to move large coops I know you can do it.
