She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Right. Mine are still smaller (about the size of my Black Jap Bantams) so I can make a smaller opening in something where they could get safe. I just don't know what the something should be....lol
I put a small animal cage in the run for my small blrw. I have a skewer on each side of the door so it only opens enough that the littluns can get in and out. I also have a feeder inside it, just in case the bigs are guarding the other feeders.

They all file in the coop at night. My big boy makes sure all the littles are tucked up in bed before the other 2 bigs go in. He is only 1 month older than the babies. I was watching them tonight. the other cockerel was apparently in the wrong place his name is Joe Cocker. Braveheart is the main man stepped on his back and grabbed the scruff of his neck ordering Joe to his rightful place. Braveheart organizes the night time ritual every night and it runs like clock work. He really is a marvel. When we had the cornish rock xs he would stay down under the coop with them because they were too fat to get up the ramp. This was when he was only 4 weeks old. He put the other 2 up to bed first.

I have just discovered the PC version of this forum. It is a different world. I don't know what to play with first. My PC was filled with terrible viruses for the past month. Jay (Hubs) Just had chance to fix it.

The applause because you deserve it.

I will reserve the slap for Ron.

This is too much fun.

Finally have my phone (where the pics are) and the charger in range of wifi and in out of the sun so I can see the pictures...

Dry Lake, about 5 miles further up the hill from our campsite.

It's a ways down...

Hurdy Gurdy Creek went through the campground.

A few shots out of the truck window.

More pics next post...

Very pretty!

I had a long day today too. Work has been... well, I'll be nice and say "horrible" lately. Found out yesterday that my ex-neighbor, a man who treats me like a daughter, is back in hospice care. I saw him a couple of weeks ago, and they sent him back to rehab for a week, but now back to hospice. Its not looking good. So after work, I drove the 90 minutes to spend some time with him. He was so happy to see me... I leaned over and hugged him and went to stand back up and he said "I'm not done yet"... So his spirits are still good. Health is not.
So for any of you so inclined, please say an extra pray for my friend Jack. He's such a good soul....

I am praying for you and Jack.
don't worry about me I'm a tough old bird and it should ease up work wise in a couple of months and we can use the money. I've stopped taking big jobs and only have two customers cut back from twenty little by little over the last five years. but one of the two looks to me for everything under the sun. and they pay good plus I get a lot of free materials. our farm has been paid for since 1996 the land we bought behind this land has been paid for since 2000 we no longer buy new cars so no car notes I  think the last truck note was 2006 we've been saving money to fix our house up and are not going borrow money for that and I do all the work my self.  and I steel ideas from everyone I'm thinking about your coop is the PVC for water or feed I'm guessing water .I like Walnuts feeder but  I'm thinking about making it out of metal I like SCs runs and coops . He's put a lot of work in them. after this 36 more tomorrow is K  day

Well...new day!!! I hope it goes well and is not so stressful

I have been told it is - I am hoping to win one to find out.

It's great!!! I love the membership. No more ads and everything loads faster. Chick you have to message customer service with your handle so they know which account to add it to.

Again, if I start paying someone to allow me to sling my insanity, they are going to be licensed to practice in my state

Every morning on the way to tork, I skim the posts (don't text and drive silkie)

I have had this friggin song stuck in my head since 7:30 AM, along with thinking about sending letters to the local papers based on my sign

You CA people will probably figure that one out...
