Hey it was just as well placed as all the stuff you steal...lmao!

My boy (12) would like to show. If we endup with a good one we will. Besides eggs Silver Laced Wyandottes are one of the things that got me into chickens. But I realize now that it was pics of show quality SLW that I really loved. I'm sad my current 6 are not turning out even though they are not hatchery stock.

I just want that beautiful bird in my yard!

Not this.

I'm learning as I go, but if I had it all to do over again I would buy nothing but SOP.
I actually like yours too...lol

No comparison at all. Sorry about your current stock.

Yes.  I do staggered hatches all the time.  If you raise the humidity at the first pip then pull the humidity pad or cover the water pan at the end of hatch, the average will do no harm.

Also, the bigger cabinets with bigger fans dry out the eggs more than does a plastic or foam incubator.  Part of it is the air current over the eggs and the bigger vents, but the rest is the smaller surface area of the water pan compared to incubator volume.  You can lower the humidity much faster in a larger cabinet.
OK thanks. And I'm on the blue side

Why family friendly it is not like kids go on this website but it is good that you were tinking like that

No
I'm a kid.

No
BYC rules say to keep it family friendly. No cussing, profanity, swearing, etc
No
Not in here. There are plenty of threads for that, and plenty of threads that are nothing but kids. We don't cuss, we don't fight, but we are adults and this thread has been going for a long time. If it's too much for tender ears, then there are plenty of role playing games in the Fun and Games section. No one makes you stay here if you find the content objectionable, but no rules have been broken

You sure?
How often do you candle?
Do you take chicks out as they hatch?
Do you mark air cells?
Do you sleep at night

I'm not saying I don't want kids in here. Everyone is welcome. We just have one kid that has a tendency to keep reminding us of the rules...

I'm hoping they are SQ and I'm hoping to get a cockerel for breeding to my other SLW.

the number one rule in showing is protection by separation show stock should not be with the flock. every feather every thing needs to be perfect .have you done your at the show research .that is if your planning on showing. the number one reason for showing is to increase the value of your birds and to expand your market that is of course unless your doing it for fun or for your children. that would be 4h FFA the reason I'm saying this SQ means your thinking showing. If I wanted SQ then I would be at the show looking for it. while I'm basing my set up on the rock bottom price I still want the best I can get. if I had the time I would see the shows and the top breeders just to know.
