My school teacher, when I was in 4th grade, went to Australia during the school year, and I always said some day I would make it there. Never did. Not likely ever to do so now. Guess if I ever do, I should plan a trip when its cold here and warm there. It was hot here today!

As a teen and early adulthood I had a fascination with Australia (outback, not citties) and always wanted to go.

Australia is a nice enough place, and has a huge variety of places . Travelling the whole of Australia you can find spots that look like just about anywhere in the world. Had some relatives come over from the UK and they hadnt really got the concept that thier whole country fits into one of our states till they got here.

I always try and avoid telling people what Age or Gender i am. it is fun to see who thinks what sometimes - After all my main computer monitor is a Barbie Tv, My favorite Character is Unikitty from the lego movie and my favorite movie is frozen.

Once again off topic. (Totally new idea, right?) The infamous roo named Sue was chasing down one of my GLW relentlessly. He was demon possessed... After he caught her he proceeded to do a 'quick dip' and be on his way. So, he's ready to go. I wonder when my girls will be.

I demandes the egggess and the baby chickenssses!!

My rooster started mating my pullets a day or two before first egg from them so soon I guess. I don't see how that question is a different topic that the people you thought were guys are teen girls and those you thought were F are old men

Ok, you folks need to reel it back a bit...I did not intend on calling out transgendered Walnut into stating a preference...wow, you folks will run away with stuff like a chicken does...omg. I mean, transgendered is as good as any other role in a family finally in the U.S...but lets not talk human rights cause ppl would think its politics. IAE, Walnut (good name for a female oriented partner, equally good name for a male oriented partner) has awesome knowledge, great skills at actually using them, and even better skills at teaching them to others, so TY!

Nice post. I believe you are right walnut would be a good father mother or partner for anyone.

Walnut, I'd really like to spend a day, no...a week at your house! I'd watch and learn first hand experience from everything you do. From the incubators to the flocks to making sausage. If you have daughters, they sure are lucky!!!

I have a daughter, she is 19, she doesn't give a hoot about anything I do or make as far as the birds or food. She does like the cars, motorcycles, and historic preservation work. My son doesn't care about making the stuff, he just wants to eat it, and my husband is the same way though he will lend a hand on the grinder or stuffer if asked.

That could be fun, doing agritourism. I'd get people to pay to shovel manure out of the coops and haul feed.

BYC- my humidity is at 30% after 48hrs. I haven't changed or added any more of the charcoal/carbon yet. I'm going to empty the cup and put fresh stuff in tomorrow morning. Very pleased with how much better the air cells are looking. Clean, defined lines and some nice growth. Can't believe how much better they look after only 48hrs with low humidity. I'm waiting to lockdown until I see an internal pip. Wish I had found it sooner. I do not like the way higher humidity makes the eggs look, no good.
