I consider anyone that candles other than lockdown a bare minimum of purple. Seriously, if the BCM I currently have set were from a proven flock, I would only candle at lockdown. That being said, I candled last night...

70% is pretty good. The three candles especially for a newbie I think is important to guide them in the right direction and teach them what a good humidity range is for them and it's very educational developmentally wise so that's not excessive. But here's some RED for your BLUE cause you are looking a little PURPLE today!!!!
