You must have missed my turkey picture.. I don't look much Italian. Well, maybe my nose... (but if you had seen a pic of the back of me, my butt might look Italian! haha)
And seriously, I didn't read it all, I was way too far behind. I just saw where you mentioned me, so I tried....

Thanks for the welcome... didn't mean to just drop in, lol...
Those eggs just caught my eye and are offensive for any breeder worth their salt... I'm in TN, south of Nashville... I have Ameraucanas, Araucanas, Cream Legbars, Sulmtalers, Marans, Silkies, OEGB's and bantam Araucanas...
If there is no development, I will check for the bullseye and see if they were even fertilized. Thank you I appreciate the offer. Youaybe hearing from me in 21 days. Ha ha.
Checking for fertilization after they have been incubated doesn't work as the "bullseye" breaks down over the incubation period period if it doesn't develop into the chick. Had to research that a while back- I thinkit was for sidewing.
Hi all! I have been reading this thread for weeks, following along (sure is hard to keep up haha). I have just finished my first hatch and just wanted to say thankyou all so much for the information you share, it has helped me so much along the way. This forum is just amazing and I am glad to now be apart of it.
people for acting red, but it's all in fun. The whole point of this thread is that there are a bunch of different ways to be successful. I'm not even totally blue all the time, but am probably the most blue on the thread. My work schedule has a lot to do with that, but so does the Brinsea. It's easy to be blue when your incubator is stable

I was so far behind, I can't even remember what to comment on...
Hey @RubyNala97 I haven't been able to find eggs I want, so if you are about ready to set, don't wait on me. I'll keep looking, but I'm not having much luck
I'm back to thinking I'm crazy to set up the brooder again. The itch subsided a little. Maybe that's what I have to do...ride out the cravings and they'll get easier to fight? I'll probably change my mind back by this afternoon!
K is the first letter of my name this morning when I got up and it was raining I decided that I was going to do something very rare for me .do as little as possible instead of as much as I can . a day just for me to do something I like doing . I like not doing nothing for a while it went very well still took care of my chickens and horses no work calls at all but the sky didn't fall. had to cook dinner though. and now it's over back to work tomorrow and maybe the weekend as well but today was great. I've spent the biggest part of it glued to this laptop. the other K will be here tomorrow by or before noon. surly you guys know what that is .
I think you prove your big-ole-redneckedness enough on your own, without our confirmation!
Since I wasn’t around yesterday for this little tirade, I waited for the return of the King! I do believe Silkie is from Asian descent (we've met ) Can you tell that I'm from Italian descent? Probably not by my looks, but my grand-parents arrived at Ellis Island, just like plenty of other masses, early this century. My father was a young boy then. My grandmother barely learned to speak English. She did learn how to put a plate on the table in front of us and say "Eat-a... Eat-a" and you knew you better eat every bite. (right Ruby? LOL) BUT... do I know every pasta ever created? Absolutely NOT! Did I even know 10 different pastas at Silkie’s age? Probably not! We've established that Silkie is young and Asian, but she never said her parents were both Asian, or that she was even being raised in an Asian style of upbringing. Right? So to assume that she would know all about sushi, just because she is Asian, is just crazy. And by the way, I hate sushi.

That's funny you said this! I was wondering that when OP said it. Every time I break open an egg that's been in the incubator for a week, the yolk is scrambled and I can't see anything.

WV!!!
You'd better not be wearing that hat when you type things like that
I'm going to chalk it up to you reading the thread after dinner and a few rounds of Turkey
Tirade? There was no tirade about it. It was all tongue in cheek, so totally outrageous that no one would take it seriously except maybe Silkie. And I guess you
I would have never guessed you were eye talian, but that's not what the joke was. It's not been established on this thread that silkie was Asian. When she said it, that was the first time I had ever heard, so I immediately tried to come up with a way to make something fun out of it. Let's see, what's the most outrageous thing a red bearded redneck from SC can say? I know! I'm Asian
I don't know anything about Asian culture, but I do know sushi, so I went with what I had. If ross had been here, she could have called me out in a hurry, but she wasn't, so I kept it going for a while.
We all know silkie aggravates me, but I like her and she knows it. I've PMed her
, just to make sure that she didn't take anything I said seriously.
But you? You're supposed to be my girl...
I'm hurt
Well, ok, everyone knows I'm lying about that
, but seriously...
This is for not getting the joke
This is for admonishing me before my second cup of coffee
This is for being dedicated to work and leaving before I could respond
Now, come here
See, I was trying to behave today. That didn't last long, did it?
