I do believe Silkie is from Asian descent (we've met ) Can you tell that I'm from Italian descent? Probably not by my looks, but my grand-parents arrived at Ellis Island, just like plenty of other masses, early this century. My father was a young boy then. My grandmother barely learned to speak English. She did learn how to put a plate on the table in front of us and say "Eat-a... Eat-a" and you knew you better eat every bite. (right Ruby? LOL) BUT... do I know every pasta ever created? Absolutely NOT! Did I even know 10 different pastas at Silkie’s age? Probably not! We've established that Silkie is young and Asian, but she never said her parents were both Asian, or that she was even being raised in an Asian style of upbringing. Right? That is horrible. Air cells aside, there are only 2 eggs in that pic I would even consider putting in my incubator. I know since they were bought, you will probably incubate them all, but I would be ashamed to send someone those eggs
I've seen you somewhere else. Maybe the BCM thread? When you see me refer to the eat'emup thread, that's the one I'm talking about. Very good thread with very good breeders, but feedback is straight, and to the point. You gotta have a thick skin. You kinda gotta have a thick skin here, too, but for different reasons. Not mentioning any names...
One of the most serious,to the point breeders on that thread is snowbird, but I think he has a dark side. I see him lurking here all the time

I joke about being completely blue andpeople for acting red, but it's all in fun. The whole point of this thread is that there are a bunch of different ways to be successful. I'm not even totally blue all the time, but am probably the most blue on the thread. My work schedule has a lot to do with that, but so does the Brinsea. It's easy to be blue when your incubator is stable
looking forward to seeing more of this thread... and now I'll go back to the beginning and give it due diligence...

I saw chicapee looking for eggs earlier and was curious about what was received... I had to comment due to the appalling condition those eggs were sent in... those wouldn't go near my bator if they were mine, much less anyone else's... that sender (no I won't call them a breeder) needs a severe reality check with a 2x4...
