She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I'll definitely keep them alone then. I mean seperate from all the others. I think the woman I'm getting them from deals only with rare breeds and conservation. She wanted $25/dz but said since I'm coming to get them she will let me have them for $15/dz

Wow, they are pretty!! I love the tails. I've been paying way to much for eggs! :he

I love reading details about any assisting. I hope someday I get more confident with going into an egg. I do it/I've done it, but my hands get shaky and my stomach gets butterflies! So happy that some have hatched! How many more to go?
Omg...love these!! I love to crochet, but I didn't get to this past winter because the baby was just born. Wonder if I could find a pattern for one of those!
Can't wait to hear this.....
New eggs!!! :yesss: now I must Google those too!

Beautiful birds, 'specially the roosters; easy keepers, too. I never heard of them, either, but read the Mother Earth News article...quite interesting. Good luck with them.

Megan, if these are truly Icelandics, you are getting a steal.

When you go to get them, politely ask her where her stock came from... explain that you'd like to know so you can look for more and not get from same exact source since they have very little diversity of their genetics... her source will also verify if they're true as well...

Ummm... a bit, yeah... those 2 chicks are the only Araucana eggs to make it, have others but I split them to put under broody... will update on those when I can...

Smart girl! The cynic in me wants to say: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
