So I had multiquotes going but I lost them on my phone. Lets just say that the latest 2 hours have been very stressful. My aunt Anita called me sobbing because her 12 year old was had to be put down after a pit bull crushed her bones....poor Ms. Kitty. RIP. We had to bury her in our backyard.

Then my 8 year old was screaming because my CCL Roo was free ranging and started to chase her. I told her to stand her ground but as soon as his hackles went up she freaked and started running towards me. So being that I was helping dig the hole for the kitty...I happen to have a machete in my hand and swung it sideways to pop him with the flat part. I hit him just right because I thought I killed him. He laid on the ground writhing around not really moving....then conciousNess returned and he took off running. Maybe this is what I needed to help cool his jets. we shall see.

Thanks for the hugs everyone. I feel so bad for Anita. She is super sweet and she's never been married or had children. Ms Kitty has been be baby. She has had to put down 2 dogs and Ms. Kitty in the past 3 months. The dogs were so old it was time, but Ms. Kitty was just a terrible accident. The potbelly tried to bite her as she carried her inside. Animal control is on the look out. My hubby says when he gets home if that pitbull is still running loose.....he will take care of it. If anything I just want to ask for prayers for Anita. Thank you all!!!
