Found the little girl clb out of her house this morning, managed to catch her and found a very small opening. Then I found that Tempest had died in the coop over night, and Miracle is missing. My guess is that she escaped from the tiny gap that I found between the pens and was a snack. Haven't found her yet. Pretty upset that I didn't see it sooner. crappy day.

So sorry, hon! You've done great for them, please don't beat yourself up... mistakes happen... at least you found the one girl and the others didn't get out too...

They couldnt get out because, they are so fat. The clb are slimmer and miracle hadn't grown much, so was still tiny. Clb had me running all around the garden before I managed to catch her in a net. Thanks for the hugs. I am hoping she might still show up. Tempest was a poor little thing and I think her affliction got the better of her and she just wasn't strong enough.

@mixedUPturk have you figured anything out for your cradle/turner? If not, I'm going to show that little arm thingy to my hubby and see what ideas he has to fabricate something as a replacement.

I am so sorry to hear that, but don't give up hope quite yet...not until you find evidence.

One of my bantam pullets kept escaping, she was the size of a sparrow, she kept squeezing through the bird netting. It took me several days to find the spot where she was squeezing out between zip ties at the bottom (there is wire fencing behind the plastic netting). But every morning she would be gone, and would eventually show up. Once she could fly there was no stopping her. She goes wherever she wants, she walks through the fencing up high as I never designed the coops to stop small birds.

hate this for you this is always the worst part of raising chickens . you do the best you can . sometimes it just doesn't turn out good for you or your birds. the thought or you chasing a chicken with a net is kind of funny though.

Sadly, no, i just made myself get on schedual with it...

The part i need is only like 15$ so ill probly buy it rather than wait on robert to flipn fix it...
