She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Hey Ruby, my husband decided to scramble some eggs this afternoon, and guess which ones he decided to use? The carton of silkies!! Lol
I guess I should have told him, or set them aside! So I'm starting over with today's eggs. Got 2 from the silkies so I'll use them, with the others from yesterday. Yesterday's chicken egg lost .1 gram and the duck egg lost .2 grams.

:lau That's hilarious! Not like he'd have any idea you were experimenting. Ok start again. I should try it too (when I get eggs) and compare our weight losses. This will be interesting.

I forgot to add all eggs looked pristine and there wasn't even dent in the box and they were bubble wrapped in a carton.

I've had eggs come that look perfect on the outside too (the eggs and the box) and all the air cells were detached!

They were also malpositioned. One was pipped on the side and didn't have his head tucked under his wing, and the other was pipped on the bottom instead of the top. He was stuck sideways.

You did a great job! I know that's stressful! :hugs

I tell my hubby if the eggs are for eating they will be in the fridge with no writing g on them. If the are out on the counter or laundry room and have dates and letters on them, then they are for hatching and not to touch them....he almost refrigerated eggs I was going to sell for hatching. Men!!!

lol... we don't refrigerate any of our eggs... my OH doesn't ever touch an egg without asking if it's ok first... he usually doesn't need to though since I do all the cooking anyways... :gig

I just had a third one that was the same way. I can't figure out why unless I miscalculated the hatch, because the turner was left on and then I saw pips, I had them marked to hatch starting Friday.
