Ruby, I'm not quoting all that either but you might get an egg for a day or two, then she might stop for a bit. The ones already in the "pipe" may come on out, so to speak. So dont be alarmed if she skips a few days.
I get 1 silkie egg almost every day, and alot of days I get 2. I'd love to hatch some of them, because I just saw Armand doing the deed and I guarantee he got it done! Lol

I've been waiting for eggs for 6 months! They could lay 1 a week at this point and I'd think it was a miracle!! Seriously though, thank you. I'm going to write it down on the calendar, just to keep track and have something fun to do! How can you resist the urge! You have strong willpower.

We don't get as cold as you, but I start incubating in December. I move them all to the outside brooder at two weeks. You just have to build your brooder with the weather in mind
