The air cell on the left looks normal. The big one top front looks like the membrane delaminated from the shell. No idea why or how that would happen unless there was gas in the egg, and gas comes from decomposition. But smell comes with that. Dunno, if there are only a few days left, leave it in and wait?

@WalnutHill you did a much better job tracing the air cell then I did. Its only day 29 so something could happen but I am thinking no.
@WVduckchick there doesnt appear to be any liquid in either cell.

I think that one went DIS a while ago... and since it was laying on its side, the moisture loss continued and the membrane collapsed down as the liquid around the embryo dried up...

Thank you!! I see it now! You don't even wanna know what I thought I was looking at before! That is very interesting. And it's interesting that the color is different for each air cell. Amy may be onto something...kinda looks like a fairy egg inside. (Egg without a shell). I am very curious to see what's inside after you open that egg. Do you see any development inside the egg?

yes all were moving last week when I had to take them out of the turner early because Hunter couldn't sit in its shell any longer. That was Saturday.

I think it probably quit right after you laid them down... no, nothing you did, it's just one of those things... air cells look different because the actual air cell is between both membranes while that air pocket is between the outer membrane and the shell...

OMG,I could not NOT eggtopsy that one. I would have to know, I would have to be able to document what I was seeing....lol Too much curiosity and oddity to let that opportunity go by.....lol Bring it to me, I'll do it! lol
