These were 1st and 2nd eggs of this pullet... chicks were only half Marans though, roo was a Lav Orp...

I got ten each for the larger ones and seven for the smaller ones so not great but OK . thinking about taking some more this weekend. just to lower numbers . feeding time. out for a bit

That's great! I did the same thing with mine when she starting laying. I couldn't resist. My and her very first egg ever hatched!
