The egg she laid this morning broke on the way out, shell is very soft. Soft shells are an ongoing problem.
Some shell is left inside her. Now what do I do?? I know this is dangerous. The vet can see her until tomorrow afternoon!
What do I do??!!???

I would get some lubricant on a rubber glove, and gently insert a finger to try and feel for any shell remnants remaining inside, then remove them. Once you certain that there are no more, you may want to take a syringe and squirt some weak vinegar solution into the vent to clean out any egg material left there. That can be a setup for bacteria and egg yolk peritonitis later on. Here is a similar thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/847276/hen-trying-to-pass-broken-shell-what-do-i-do
