I guess I must be a little OCD too, I didn't even think about that being odd!!! Very funny. And beautiful little chicken and egg. We will be waiting until fall but we have already started trying to guess the colors our ee will lay. Congrats!!!

I always reorganize them in the morning, two little groups of 3 golf balls, that way I can tell if someone goes in the next box and kicks them around

I couldn't think of any other way to tell if anyone was showing interest in the nest box, other than sneaking out in the morning while the chickens were still sleeping and just waiting/watching, and I didn't really want to do that, lol!
