Oh you'd love the stories of Raven creating the world, bringing light, freeing humans from the clam shell... I come from Raven clan so its Raven this and Raven that.Medicine woman...LOVE IT! I was brought up to use herbs and tinctures, I use them on myself, the dog, and especially the chickens! Cured many a crop issue, even liver disease with my concoctions.
Following your anscestral genes and DNA makes you feel whole. It's who you really are. It's too easy to get caught up in societies structure of being what we think we should be to fit in, but being true to who we are by following those ancient callings gives us the enlightenment we all seek.
I have a deep respect for RavenFollowing your anscestral genes and DNA makes you feel whole. It's who you really are. You are so correct, Leyla. Eventhough, sometimes it's a rough road to travel and it's even rougher trying to follow two roads!
I'm from the Kawhadi clan of the Nʉmʉnʉʉ, Comanche Nation; not much talk about antelope but they are far seeing and swift on the hoof. Actually, Kawhadi means antelope! And out on the Llano Estacata, they were abundant and a major source of food, along with kuutsuu or Bison.
If you don't know where you came from, how do know who you are or where you going!

Chicken medicine is definitely one of my favorites, too. Curious but cautious, learning and adaptable in basically every situation, family-oriented...most of the time

Duck medicine is gentle (mostly) and playful. Again, very family oriented and exemplary of the phrase "no one gets left behind." Also curious but less adventurous, I find ducks emphasis safety over discovering something new, which I need to be reminded of often. Plus, ducks are often queer (in the LGBT+ sense) and I very much cherish my Pride Ducks.

Geez, I could go on and on about all my favourite Medicines, but I'll spare you. I'm sure you two know them anyway. I'm just being young and excited to jabber on.
