Oh you'd love the stories of Raven creating the world, bringing light, freeing humans from the clam shell... I come from Raven clan so its Raven this and Raven that. :D Medicine woman...LOVE IT! I was brought up to use herbs and tinctures, I use them on myself, the dog, and especially the chickens! Cured many a crop issue, even liver disease with my concoctions. Following your anscestral genes and DNA makes you feel whole. It's who you really are. It's too easy to get caught up in societies structure of being what we think we should be to fit in, but being true to who we are by following those ancient callings gives us the enlightenment we all seek.

You are so correct, Leyla. Eventhough, sometimes it's a rough road to travel and it's even rougher trying to follow two roads! :old
I'm from the Kawhadi clan of the Nʉmʉnʉʉ, Comanche Nation; not much talk about antelope but they are far seeing and swift on the hoof. Actually, Kawhadi means antelope! And out on the Llano Estacata, they were abundant and a major source of food, along with kuutsuu or Bison.
If you don't know where you came from, how do know who you are or where you going!
I have a deep respect for Raven ❤️ Antelope is one of my guides, too, and the way I was taught antelope medicine is all about doing and action, looking at any problem you face and solving it with what you do have rather than focusing on what you need but don't have.

Chicken medicine is definitely one of my favorites, too. Curious but cautious, learning and adaptable in basically every situation, family-oriented...most of the time 😂 They're not afraid to challenge authority if they feel something isn't being done right or they can be better for the flock. Just...ah, happy sigh. Chickens. 🥰

Duck medicine is gentle (mostly) and playful. Again, very family oriented and exemplary of the phrase "no one gets left behind." Also curious but less adventurous, I find ducks emphasis safety over discovering something new, which I need to be reminded of often. Plus, ducks are often queer (in the LGBT+ sense) and I very much cherish my Pride Ducks. 🥰🌈✨

Geez, I could go on and on about all my favourite Medicines, but I'll spare you. I'm sure you two know them anyway. I'm just being young and excited to jabber on. 😅 I'm very happy I found relatives here! ❤️

Creatures can be wonderful guides and medicine. When ever you make a big decision in life, watch the wildlife that cross your path, they may be telling you something. I wish you all the best on your journey. :hugs

I often find or rather it finds me, a pebble, a feather, plant or some other 'token'....it calls you! ....your gathering power!....same with animals!

Welcome. It must be very challenging training with a disability. I am very curious how you do it?
Haha, lots of patience and diligence - for both me and my little ducky. Each day is different, too, so the training is "rotating" in a sense. Aside from being deafblind, I also have a rare paralysis condition, a connective tissue disorder, a feeding tube, and a chronic fatigue (plus other goodies) condition that I contend with. So literally, each day we work on something different but important. Some tasks are daily, some only come up a few times a week.

The girl I have right now, sweetest Khaki Campbell, unfortunately isn't catching on very well to some of the important things; the main one being cuddling/close contact. She's just not that type of duck. Very friendly but not much for snuggling up, which is pretty key for therapy and psych-service ducks. So, I'm going to be rehoming her to a place she'll be much happier and am gonna try my luck this next go around with Call ducks instead. I just...have to find one lol
