Yes! They arrived today at around 11am. I had to pick them up on my lunch break - haha! All survived, but the Polish and one of the EEs are pretty lethargic. Are the chicks here?
The Polish was almost dead when I opened the box. She was on her side and panting. I got her warmed up, gave her some NutriDrench and warm water. She's doing much better now. She's walking and eating.
The EE is not doing so good. I can get her to drink and take a little egg yolk if I put it to her beak, but she's just kind of sleepy. She can stand, but just lays back down.
The other 4 are outside with the broody mamas now. I think most of them ended up under Dandelion, but we'll see in the morning. The broody mamas took the chicks instantly.
I am telling you - if you want a hen to raise your babies for you, get yourself a Silkie.
