I just got some BEI eggs on Friday..(not peas I know) The seller made a thick mest of bubble wrap in the box, wrapped each egg in several layers of bubble wrap with the ends open, and covered the top with another thick pad of bubble wrap.
The eggs look GREAT, with no floating air cells, He shipped them on Thursday and I got them on Friday, USPS. I think the longer eggs stay in transit, the more abuse they can receive. I feel very lucky with this shipment. I've had boxes show up at my door with yolk leaking out of them from the next state over.
