Shipping Confirmation? - Update - Rec'd kind of

I called the post office, no babies, all the shipments are in. Guess I better bring a plastic bag for the deaders tomorrow if they arrive then. Going to cry over baby birds I've never even seen.

You are not going to believe this. I called Meyer. They checked and my shippment did not go out until YESTERDAY!!!!!!
She even gave me a tracking number for the PO. Call them

At this point I'm just mad. If they hatched Sunday and didn't ship until Tuesday and I don't get them until Thursday that's still 4 1/2 to 5 days without food and water.

Plus if you are shipping something important, or live or perishable or all three it's crappy customer service not to tell them it went out late. I'm in an industry that ships everything from freight truck loads to small fist sized boxes and alot of it is time critical. It may be a pain in the rear and you may get yelled at but you let your customers know about delays. My sumstomers at least aren't emotionally tied to the parts I'm sending where as most of Meyers are.

If I dont' get a box of live chicks tomorrow it will be the last time I deal with MPC or Meyer.

I called Meyer after reading about toyzbox success, and they said MPC does not use them for everything and did not have an order for me (I ordered bantams). Then I reread my shipping confirmation from MPC and it said your order will be shipped the week of April 20-it didn't say April 20 exactly, but the week of. So I am encouraged by that. Maybe columbiacritter yours said the same thing. I hope so.

I guess maybe I've misunderstood so much about how this works. I've always been told that they ship the day they hatch because they can go up to 3 days without food/water. At this point all I want is live babies. I'll sort this rest after that.
All, please reply as soon as you hear ANYTHING.
