my girls will be shipped tommorrow im so excited i got
2 barred rocks named star and penny
2 ideal 236's named piper gloria
2 gold sexlinks named chico and nugget
2 white leghorns named sharon and milky
2 california whites named roxy and henrietta
1 americana named penilope
1 black australorp named ruby
1 production red named ginger
and saturday i have a hen named reba coming to live with my other pullet clairese and she is a dominique and reba is a bantam not sure i spelt it right not sure what kind of bantam either i will find out though SO SO SO EXCITED YAY

Congrats on the new additions.
Like you, I had names all picked out before my chicks arrived. The chickens however had other ideas.
Once they arrived and started growing, their personalities and quirks dictated name changes. Thus, Isis became Jezebel and Aurora became Pale Face. Only one hen, Lilith and the roosters Thor and Zeus kept their original names.
