Just received my Barred Rock chics 12. They are very healthy and active. I wish for it to remain that way. Do I need to add a vitamin pack to the water as well as a vitamin enriched starter feed? I have read mixed opinions. This is my first flock since a boy and I dont want to mess it up. Any help would be much appreciated.

I personally never do that, unless I feel my chickens or chicks are under the weather. That is because the chick starter/grower feed is nutritionally complete....Made especially for chicks.

I wouldn't think so. Just make sure they are warm and have fresh water. I did use a Sav A Chick pack when I had one that was lagging behind the others and it really seemed to help. Some people do offer it the first few days they come in..and I was too but my stuff had not arrived and they did fine.
