If you know anyone with a pickup who would transport them for you that's probably the best option.

Maybe in trade for some fresh eggs?

It's possible to make attractive hoop coops and runs. They don't have to be the "rough and ready" raw-wood and tarp sort of arrangements.

but, and this is just IMO, a framed run with posts and a roof will always be a better looking option.

since it seems the OP is going to need construction help no matter which way she goes, id opt for the “do it once and do it right” approach

yeah I just don't have very many options

I wish someone had told me in the beginning to get a wood shed (Costco) already built and tweak it with roosts, nesting boxes, and chicken doo. I would have saved enough money and could afford two.
