When Scooter chased my EE pullet, she ran and hid in some grass up against the fence. Even in an enclosed yard it took me a long time to find her. She had stuffed herself into an incredibly small spot and was completely silent. Not a peep out of her until I found her 30 mins later. She may just be hiding somewhere! Well I decided I was being a baby and let them back out. Now my favorite one is missing. Couldn't be one of the stupid roos that I have to get rid of anyway. No. Had to be my favorite and one of only a couple hens I got out of my ameracauna hatch. Best looking one.
I am so angry right now. If I had just not decided to let them back out I would still have her. I looked all over my yard and peered into my neighbors...but if she was nearby I would hear her kicking up a major fuss being alone. She is gone gone gone. Free range for an hour, gone forever.
