wow, lots going on tonight! Welcome to the new folks! Congrats on the new eggs!

I took a friend to Howe's Caverns today. it's fun, but overly commercialized. it took us forever to get out the door, I must have counted to 10 half a dozen times before we headed out... and again on our way when we had to make a detour so he could get some pro-biotic yogurt. we missed out on a couple of tours that went out without us because he's doddering around looking at the walls. but I got home in time to have about an hour with the flock. back to work for me tomorrow... and 14 Eggs today
 
So I misspoke the other day when I said my hens didn't break out into full egg song. I was sitting on the couch and heard a noise that made our inside dog jump. We went out to see what it was, the dog took off tearing around the house and I thought something was killing a chicken. It was making a awful racket. I grab a shovel as I passed the barn thinking I was going to have to whack something and get to the coop to find a new layer in the box singing her heart out! I was mesmerized it was the craziest thing I have ever heard or saw lol. The more noise she would make the more noise one of the other hens would make. The other hen was just wondering around yelling when the one laying would sing . It kinda went bawckkkkk bawkbwkbwkbwk bawkkkkkk bawkbwkbwkbwk.! It had a rhythm to it. I was just like omg that's awful lmbo
