Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I brought the dog to the vet yesterday. He was due for some vaccinations. He just happened to develop a cough. The vet wanted me to get X-rays done, and come back the following week for more and his vaccinations. My husband hasn't had a real (more than $200) check in a month or so because he keeps taking time off, and then he had to take time off for his DOT physical last week. Now he hasn't had a load in three days. The vet bill was $150, and the X-rays would have been another $150. I told the vet I would do the X-rays if they were needed, but another visit next week wasn't possible. So, he has a steroid that will deal with his bronchitis and his allergies. And I have some 22-year-old vet thinking I'm poor. THAT is why I don't like young doctors. Wayyy too much attitude!

BTW, I am coming to steal Ming

You will have to get in line behind my sister! Every time she comes over, she tries to sweet talk Ming and says you want to come live with me, don't you? My own sister, trying to steal my cat!!

At under 6 lbs, Ming is far less than half Henry's weight.

But she's still in charge!

Ming wuvs everybody!

Awwww! Thank you!

Potty training has begun! I still can't find "the" potty I want to get (it is always out of stock, and I don't like the others) but today she was squatting, and I decided to give a shot.
Her diaper was empty, so I removed it, and sat her on the toilet. A poop fell to the floor. She tinkled, and I told her she was great. I waited, but no BM. I wiped her, and stood her on the floor. I cleaned up the poop on the floor, and she stood there pooping where she was. I didn't have time to put her back on the toilet before she was done.

She had also peed into her pants.
I now know her limits, and will be more careful in the future.

I have changed my mind about the cat. xxMINGIRLxx, I am coming to England. You belong to me now!

The poor dog does sound sick today. I think the time in the truck with my (smoking) husband took its toll. Sturgis used to come home wheezing all night. It would improve within a few nights. Then he would go back with my husband. He hasn't been on the road in a while, but I have heard him wheezing on a regular basis. This is different. I thought the neighbor's hens were doing the egg song, but it was the dog sleeping. Money issues or not, the dog may need those X-rays.

Hope it's nothing serious with Sturgis. Is the vet suspecting pneumonia? Ming has asthma, but it has not gotten to the point where I will treat it. Trying to avoid the steroids unless she really needs them.
