Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

That bin is sturdier than I thought!

love the photos ladies!
I have taken Chester and both cats to the vet this week, and the Pugs go Friday. Chester is a perfect 43 lbs. he was an angel throughout, the doc adores him. the cats are good, Ollie is gaining weight (15 lbs!), but he's getting a bit old at 13, Hershey hasn't changed, still 10 lbs. he'll be 10 this Spring. Mama Belle has gained a lb or so since being here, she still gobbles food and I have to watch her to make sure she doesn't eat everyone else's. she's a challenge, can't let her get overweight... it's so bad for Pugs, and she doesn't have the best back legs already...
Fence is going up, I'll post pics soon, so far it's just posts and wires, once the fence itself starts getting rolled out... woo hoo!

A lot has been on my mind since last February, so I must ask. Cheeka, did I already know that you had lived in Fitchburg? If not, that is a relief! If I didn't know, then you don't know that is where my mother is living.

My room has been a mess for the past week. I did a lot of laundry last week, and last minute packing. Today I simply had to do something that I could control. So, I cleaned my room. Everything that was on the floor is now on the bed. My room is clean, and I am sitting here on the computer.

Okay, I am doing a load of laundry too. Does that make it better? Probably not! Between wet sheets, wet sleepers and (thank you sick dog!) wet rugs, I should have done laundry a few days ago! The smell of pee was strong!
And I remember now and then that I still haven't tackled the basement where the ducks were. In my defense I haven't felt like it!

Actually, I have had Duckling, and keep forgetting when she goes to bed. Nap time is for reading posts. I can clean bleary eyed, but not read posts.
I have a problem with washing anything the birds have pooped on. I can handle human waste and dog waste. Cat and bird is a no no to me. Am I alone on this? I want to wash it. I just can't feel it is really clean. It doesn't help that a pair of pajamas I washed last week still stank of urine, and had to be rewashed this week.

MC, nope, I don't think I had ever mentioned Fitchburg, til that FB thing, I almost put Cleghorn, cuz I spent more years on that side of town but I didn't think anyone would have a clue... and for those who don't, it's pronounced Cleh-gone. I lived there for 10 years, so it made the list... if I only lived someplace for less than 5 years, I left it out. I liked Fitchburg, I can't remember the name of the big park anymore, but I loved taking the original Pug, Clara, there... probably John Fitch State Park or something...

Peri actually ran over in her glee and licked the camera lens... and my glasses and my whole face...

the rest are sun spots... but anyway, the School Bus Driver will be very happy now that he doesn't have to deal with Chester trying to choke himself to death chasing the bus down the road...

Chester's old runner and chain have been removed, the runner has been thrown out, the chain will come in handy someplace else, sometime...

...Chester squats to pee...

omg... that face... run little girl!

it's L shaped, I think Chester thought he could sneak out this way... nope. Ha! I love this!

first poop. zero trouble chucking it with my shovel over the 6' fence and into the road. I always throw their poop into the road. I'm so gross... lol

Do you know how dangerous poop in the road is for motorcycles? Tsk! Tsk! Not to mention you can hurt your shoulder doing that.
Duckling is crying. Oh, it was short lived! Yeay! I reduced her water bottle to like four ounces. Might have been three. Bottles need to go!
The dogs look so happy to be free! I'm sure you love it too!

yeah, I rode for a long time, still have my license... but this is a dirt road, not much traffic, maybe a bone ride if you don't live here... only one motorcycle, and a couple of dirt bikes, most of the poop lands by the ditch, and it just disappears, but I have gotten a bunch in the middle... still, just becomes part of the road.

I can get the bags and a little can, but the yard slopes down, so if I stand on the hill part, it's just a toss to the ditch. the plow will push it along. poop is part of the country feel. oh and you mentioned the bird poop. I have no problem with it at all. I hate dog poop more. stepping wise anyway... but I wear snow pants to keep cleaner when I care for the birds, and they wash beautifully. now I don't wash them with my "good" clothes. snow pants with snow pants or jackets. but I'm weird like that. socks and underwear together only and in hot water, double rinse. towels with towels, sweats with sweats... no fuzzballs that way. I was more ocd when I was younger, jeans with only jeans... but I got over that last year.
