I saw Big Foot while deer hunting and he was wearing Muck Boots.Congratulations Lilwanis! that's so awesome!
FIVE for me today, all but one BR... only one cream egg...and everyone roosting nicely when I collected them in the darkness... I do hate that, getting home in the darktime! the chicks are fine, the house was dark dark... I forgot to leave a light on, and they were all sleepin', but woke up and have been hoppin' and flappin' and peepin' and poopin' quite actively since I disturbed them. I will pull the latest album of pics up after I eat, and crop some shots for y'all to see...
MC, hang in there, it's the toughest time of year to wait, but there are so many aspects involved... I'm hoping you have lots of eggs tomorrow! maybe they will all start at once! mine all started within 2 weeks of one another, dribs and drabs then boom! crazy eggs!
ACW, only makes sense to me that they exist, and not as big ole lumbering hulks, your description is good, and probably most accurate. personally, I hope we never find them. they've gone all this time without human intervention, they deserve peace and quiet. from humans, they'd get poked, prodded, tested, killed, autopsied... and if they don't exist, don't spoil my fun and love of folklore.
gots me new-identical-to-the-lost-ones Muck Boots today.I decided that I DO need them. for easy slip on and off morning-chicken-feeding-wear.![]()
