Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

To be honest, I will not call the police.
I have always tried to stay out of their sight, but lately I have been braving it because it's not fair to Duckling to have to stay inside all day. Children deserve to play and explore... Even when the exploration is picking up every stick, and pointing out every pile of poop. :D
I don't want them harassing me again. My day has been destroyed because of them, I didn't need the rest of the day made worse.

Yesterday, I collected one duck egg and one chicken egg. One of the hens was still in the box, One of the hens was still in the box cob so I put the chicken egg underneath her so I wouldn't have to carry it around. Duckling had the duck egg.
I just got the eggs, and there were only six. That is a perfect day, and that leaves no room for any chicken eggs yesterday. I had perfect days this entire week, so it's possible that yesterday was not perfect. It is possible that today wasn't perfect too. I'm just not buying that the numbers are exactly what they should be for one day (Not counting that I have a duck egg for both days).
I have always suspected that someone was eating eggs, but it's never the same hen that I suspect. Also, I have never seen a mess due to broken eggs/eaten eggs. I just see missing eggs.
Veeeeeerry interesting!

Sounds like a mystery, MC. Sorry you have to deal with such negativity.

aw MC, I'm sorry for your continued difficulties. it is extremely unfair. I understand where you're stand is. on marriage, on children... but you're sacrificing your life for the misery being inflicted upon you. it's one thing if your partner and his family are willing to work on it, but it's quite another for them to keep you captive and surviving on bare minimums. it may be the hardest thing you've ever had to do, but it's time to stand up to these people. they may be the one's to call the po-po... but you've got legs to stand on and a spine to make sure you stay upright! good luck, and lots of love!

Idk. I was awake at 5:30, but I had my alarm set for 6 o'clock. I knew that the checks were going to need water this morning, and I wanted to be sure that I could be out there before the neighbors woke. I waited until there was enough light to see, and late enough that the ducks would not alert anyone that I was out there.
I think I finally know how I want to build the new coop, but I just don't think it's smart to be that close to their property, and that far from my house.
