Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

it's about an hour and 15 min to my folks. not bad, but, I am glad I don't have to do it everyday. I'm getting referred to docs out here. can go to Denver for treatment, but we're hoping that the good Denver docs my parents know, can recommend someone good up here... got a few paintings hung today, got most of the art in the room that it belongs in, or at least, organized by artist, so all the pieces are together for when I do decide where they go. lotta wall space up here!

Updates!

Seramas that need homes. There is a member on the Bay Area thread that has offered to help find them homes. I am so thrilled!

One silkied pullet (very popular, if ya know what I mean!)

Bueno

Calvin

and Tommy Trouble

who I think I will keep. You can see his long upper beak (trimmed tonight) and his comb gets blue a lot, so thinking he has heart troubles or something.

He has a beautiful green tail, chest and wings.

My keeper cockerel is Friendly or Mr. Beeple-boople depending on who is holding him... Very sweet bird.

And broody PJ is staying. She and I have a thing for each other.

More updates!

My 3 little chicks that Buster Posey raised are getting big!

Remember them?

Fern, the pretty blue Wyandotte

EE pullet, Charlotte

EE cockerel, Wilbur who will need a new home soon.

Wish I could get better pics of them all. Might make it easier to find a place for them. The glossy feathers coming in on Wilbur's wings are a bright red in the sun, and his tail is a pale grey (lavender?) with a bit of dark coming in. Hope I can see him as an adult some day.

W4W they are all gorgeous! sure wish I could have a pair of the little guys... and little PJ omg, I'd have a thing for her too... can't wait to get a move on in the backyard here, get me n Wrangler some new babies!

This is Penelope, an older version of PJ (Penelope Jr) As she gets older, she gets more black and white. Very small hen.

Penelope in the center next to Mo, the rooster who died this summer.

She's in the front here. Soooo tiny!

The Muscovy, Aretha Franklin, began laying yesterday. I just found the eggs today. I am very happy to see that it is a different color than the Pekin. I need to know the eggs apart.
My hair smells like coffee. It is still wet, so I am not sure of the color. I just know it smells like heaven.
