it's so cool to watch the bantams ranging with large fowl... like perpetual babies. they are all so beautiful.

MC, are you dying your hair with coffee? I can see how that would work... and smell great! love the eggs, getting jealous... I want birds...and eggs.

The purpose was coffee scented hair. Dying it was just the side effect. Funny since it should be the other way around!

Blame Nutcup. I would have to look for the conversation, but I was teasing him about something, and coffee scented hair became tempting.

You need chocolate scented shampoo, then you can smell mocha for awhile!

Step one, choose your base. Instant or fresh ground coffee.
Choose your roast and flavor.
Decide between Hershey syrup and Nestlé Quick powder. Hot fudge if you want it really thick.
Decide whether you want to moisten your hair with a pot of coffee.
Mix your coffee of choice and chocolate together. Add an unscented/baby shampoo if moisture is needed in the base.
Wet hair and apply shampoo liberally.
Put on a shower cap, and allow to soak into hair for two hours or more.
Rinse with more coffee or warm water.
Allow to dry, and try to function during the day while huffing your hair.

lol, I think it's a great idea! and certainly smells better than store bought hair dye!

this morning, I spoke with my friends that took Brutus, Dutch, Neffy and a bunch of large fowl, everyone is settled and the ladies have resumed laying! and this morning, she was able to finally catch Dutch and have a nice snuggle. Brutus and Neffy have been her lap babies since the day they went home with them... it was nice to catch up with them and hear how well they are all doing. it seems so long ago that I left, and it's not even 5 weeks yet.

on other news... I've gained about 3 lbs since leaving NY, and Wrangler finally has a loose front tooth! she's been wiggling it pretty much non stop since yesterday, and she will eat anything you give her if you tell her it will help make that tooth fall out! she's been eating apples like crazy... she also has 2 loose teeth on the bottom, it's going to be a busy time for the tooth fairy!
